As Africa's young population grows and the global economy evolves, traditional higher education is under increasing pressure. Universities across the continent face capacity challenges, outdated curricula, and weak alignment with labor market needs. At the same time, demand for innovative, scalable, and relevant training pathways has never been higher. This session challenges conventional models and explores new approaches that can close Africa's skills gap, equip emerging leaders, and position the continent for sustainable growth.
This panel will explore how innovative models, alternative credentials, market-aligned curricula, and technology-enabled platforms can unlock new pathways for African talent development – charting a future where higher education is more inclusive, scalable, and responsive to the continent's economic ambitions.
