WHAT IS WABF
The Wharton Africa Business Forum (WABF) is the Wharton Africa Student Association (WASA)'s flagship event and the longest-running Africa-focused business conference in the United States. For 33 years, it has convened builders, investors, policymakers, scholars, founders, and future leaders shaping Africa's future. This year's forum takes place November 6-7, 2026 in Philadelphia.

Built by Billions is a statement on the contribution and agency of every African, across the continent and its diaspora. The Forum brings together builders, investors, innovators, policymakers, creatives, and community organizers, turning African socio-economic power into lasting impact, on Africa's own terms.
This year, we focus on what sets Africa apart at this moment: the fastest-growing population in the world, an unparalleled depth of talent, and a rising generation of entrepreneurs and industry leaders transforming opportunity into enterprise.
Individuals transforming ambition into enterprise: founders, investors, operators, policymakers, scholars, and creatives turning ideas into institutions.
A focus on the opportunities shaping tomorrow: Africa's fastest-growing population, a deep and expanding talent base, and a rising generation of entrepreneurs.
The belief that Africa's future should be defined by Africans and the global African diaspora, where policy, capital, infrastructure, and trade meet people and institutions on the ground.
